Aransas Pass Fishing Guide & Fishing Charters | Clean Fun Fishing

If you're looking for an Aransas Pass fishing guide or fishing charter, I'd love to take you on the water. I'm Captain Justin with Clean Fun Fishing, and I've spent years fishing the bays, flats, channels, shorelines, and back lakes surrounding Aransas Pass, Texas. I plan each trip around current tides, wind, weather, water conditions, and seasonal fish movements to give you the best opportunity for a successful day on the water.

If you want to learn how to find productive fishing spots around Aransas Pass and other Coastal Bend waters yourself, check out my Texas Inshore Fishing Spots membership for Google Earth breakdowns, structure, tides, weather and seasonal fishing patterns.

Whether you're after redfish, speckled trout, black drum, or other inshore species, my goal is to provide a fun, productive, family-friendly Aransas Pass fishing trip. I also offer fishing charters in Rockport, Texas and other nearby Coastal Bend waters. For visitors staying farther south, I also offer fishing charters near Port Aransas with access to productive inshore waters throughout the area.

I fish from an 18-foot Freedom Patriot flats boat that's designed specifically for shallow-water fishing. Its stable catamaran hull provides a comfortable ride while allowing us to reach skinny water where larger boats often can't go. Whether we're drifting a grass flat, fishing a shoreline, or working deeper channels during changing weather, the boat allows us to fish efficiently without spending unnecessary time running across the bay.

Most trips launch from convenient public boat ramps near Aransas Pass, allowing us to quickly reach productive fishing grounds. Depending on wind direction and tides, we may fish protected shorelines, expansive grass flats, deeper channels, or shallow back lakes where baitfish are concentrated.

Throughout the year, Aransas Pass offers outstanding opportunities to catch redfish, speckled trout, black drum, and sheepshead. Spring brings warming water temperatures and active trout across the flats. Summer provides excellent opportunities for early morning trout before shifting to dependable redfish and black drum as the day progresses. Fall is one of my favorite seasons, with cooler temperatures creating consistent action and mixed catches. During winter, deeper holes and protected shorelines often produce excellent black drum and oversized redfish.

Every trip is adjusted to current fishing conditions. Depending on what's working best, we may fish live shrimp under popping corks, Carolina rigs, free-lined bait, or artificial lures. My goal is always to use the techniques that give my customers the best chance of catching fish while keeping the experience enjoyable and educational.

Clean Fun Fishing specializes in trips for families, first-time anglers, and anyone wanting to learn more about inshore fishing. Many of my customers have never held a fishing rod before, and I enjoy teaching the basics while helping everyone build confidence throughout the trip. Whether you're introducing your children to fishing or simply looking for a relaxing day on the water, I'll make sure everyone feels comfortable and involved.

I also maintain a no-alcohol environment on every charter. Families appreciate knowing they'll be fishing in a safe, relaxed atmosphere where the focus stays on making memories, learning new skills, and enjoying time together on the Texas coast.

Many of my customers return year after year because they know they'll receive honest guidance, quality equipment, and a captain who works hard from the first cast until it's time to head back to the dock. Every trip is different, but my commitment to providing an enjoyable experience never changes.

Most trips launch from convenient public boat ramps in or around Ingleside, allowing quick access to productive fishing areas throughout Redfish Bay, Estes Flats, Aransas Bay, and surrounding waters.

Yes. Many of my customers are first-time anglers. I'll provide all of the equipment, bait, instruction, and coaching needed so you can enjoy a successful day on the water.

Absolutely. Family fishing trips are one of my specialties, and I enjoy helping kids catch their first fish while making the trip fun, safe, and memorable.

Depending on the season and conditions, we commonly target redfish, speckled trout, black drum, and mangrove snapper.

Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, weather-appropriate clothing and snacks if you'd like, and a valid Texas fishing license is required. I'll provide the rods, reels, bait, tackle, drinks, fish cleaning and everything else you'll need for fishing.

If you're planning a visit to Aransas Pass or live nearby and want to experience some of the best inshore fishing on the Texas Coast, I'd love to take you fishing. Whether you're looking to catch your first redfish, spend quality time with your family, or simply enjoy a day exploring the beautiful Coastal Bend, I'll work hard to make your fishing trip one you'll remember for years to come.

Clean Fun Fishing Customer Reviews

By Travis Meir:  Justin took us out on a guided fishing trip near Aransas Pass Tx.
He was extremely professional, had the boat in the water, ice chest full of water & Gatorade, fully rigged up rods and reels provided and ready to go fish. We were at the boat ramp 10 mins early and he was already there waiting for us before hand. He’s extremely knowledgeable of the waterways, positioned the boat so everyone can fish and we felt safe riding with him. Had a great time and even better conversations. We highly recommend him to our friends and family.

By Keke Powell:  My dad has been following Justin's YouTube page for quite some time and we were ready to do a guided fishing trip! He had great communication and was super patient with my dad and I. We fished for four hours and had a great time! Today was a great fishing day and we will be booking with him in the future.

By William Cutherell:  I have been going to Justin for years. He is the best guide I have found. Always a great time and tons of fish. Awesome guy, and great with kids. I would recommend him to anyone!
