Port Aransas Fishing Charters | Family-Friendly Inshore Fishing
Port Aransas is one of the premier fishing destinations on the Texas Gulf Coast, and I'd love to show you why so many anglers return year after year. At Clean Fun Fishing, I specialize in guided inshore fishing trips that are designed for families, beginners, experienced anglers, and anyone looking to enjoy a relaxing day on the water. My name is Captain Justin, and I've spent the last seven years learning the waters surrounding Port Aransas, allowing me to adapt each trip to the tides, weather, and seasonal fish patterns.
One of the biggest advantages of fishing out of Port Aransas is the variety of water available within a short boat ride. From shallow grass flats and protected back lakes to deeper channels and open bays, there are productive areas for every season. Every trip is customized based on current conditions so we're fishing where the fish are most likely to be feeding rather than following the same plan every day.
I operate an 18-foot Freedom Patriot flats boat that's built specifically for navigating shallow coastal waters. The stable catamaran design provides a comfortable ride while allowing us to reach areas that larger bay boats often have to avoid. Trips typically launch from Ingleside, Texas, giving us convenient access to the inshore waters around Port Aransas, Aransas Pass, and the surrounding bays. Depending on wind direction, tides, and water clarity, we may fish the flats, shorelines, channels, or nearby bays to give you the best chance of success.
Port Aransas offers excellent fishing opportunities throughout the year. During the spring, warming water temperatures bring active speckled trout and redfish onto the flats. Summer mornings often provide outstanding trout fishing before redfish and black drum become more active later in the day. As temperatures begin to cool in the fall, baitfish movement creates some of the year's most consistent fishing. Winter continues to produce quality catches, especially around protected shorelines and deeper water.
Every charter is tailored to current fishing conditions. I commonly fish with live shrimp under popping corks, Carolina rigs, free-lined bait, and artificial lures when conditions are favorable. Whether you're hoping to catch your first redfish or just improve your fishing skills, I'll explain what we're doing, why we're fishing a particular area, and help you every step of the way.
One of the things my customers appreciate most is the relaxed atmosphere aboard my boat. Clean Fun Fishing is built around creating enjoyable experiences for families, children, couples, and small groups. I enjoy introducing new anglers to fishing just as much as helping experienced fishermen catch quality fish. Every trip is paced according to your experience level, making it easy for everyone to enjoy the day.
I also maintain a no-alcohol environment on every charter. Parents and grandparents often tell me they appreciate knowing their family will be spending the day in a safe, professional setting where the focus is entirely on fishing, learning, and making great memories together.
Many of my customers visit Port Aransas on vacation and choose to fish with me every time they return to the Texas coast. My goal is to provide more than just a fishing trip—I want every guest to leave with lasting memories, new fishing knowledge, and plenty of photos to remember the day.
