Port Aransas Fishing Report November 2026 | Inshore Fishing Charters & Guides
November brings another opportunity to enjoy inshore fishing around Port Aransas, Aransas Pass, and Rockport, Texas. As water temperatures begin cooling and seasonal weather patterns change, anglers have opportunities to target redfish, speckled trout, black drum, and other inshore species throughout the Coastal Bend.
I'm Captain Justin with Clean Fun Fishing, and I offer private fishing charters for families, beginners, and experienced anglers. Whether you're visiting Port Aransas on vacation or live along the Texas coast, I provide guided fishing trips focused on enjoying time on the water and finding fish.
November Fishing Around Port Aransas, Texas
Fall fishing around Port Aransas can provide opportunities to catch several popular inshore species. As November progresses, changing water temperatures, tides, and wind conditions can influence where fish concentrate. Locate the nervous bait fish and fish your way through that bait. Drift or run your trolling motor down a shoreline and cover water.
Some of the areas I fish include Redfish Bay, the grass flats around Aransas Pass, deeper ship channels, and oyster reefs. In the grass flats target the pot holes. These pot holes are a tan spot that is deeper then the grass and fish lay in those holes to ambush bait.
I adjust each trip based on the weather, tides, and fishing conditions rather than fishing the same locations every day.
Targeting Redfish, Speckled Trout, and Black Drum
Redfish are one of the most popular species customers want to catch on my Port Aransas fishing charters. Shallow grass flats, shorelines, and deeper guts can all provide opportunities depending on conditions.
Speckled trout are another popular target. Drifting grass flats and fishing areas with moving water can be productive techniques during the cooler months.
Black drum are also a great option, especially for families and anglers who enjoy fishing with live or dead shrimp around reefs and deeper structure.
When conditions are favorable, mangrove snapper can provide additional fishing opportunities around suitable structure.

Rockport and Aransas Pass Fishing Guides
