Rockport TX Fishing Charters and Guides – Inshore Fishing With Clean Fun Fishing
If you're looking for Rockport TX fishing charters or an experienced Rockport fishing guide, I'm Captain Justin with Clean Fun Fishing. I offer private, family-friendly inshore fishing trips around Rockport, Texas, targeting redfish, speckled trout, black drum, and mangrove snapper.
As a full-time, USCG-licensed fishing captain, I spend my days fishing the bays, flats, reefs, and channels along the Texas Coastal Bend. Whether you're visiting Rockport for vacation, planning a family fishing trip, or looking for a local fishing guide who knows these waters, my goal is to provide a safe, enjoyable day of fishing.
Rockport Fishing Charters for Redfish, Trout, and Black Drum
Rockport offers some of the best inshore saltwater fishing opportunities along the Texas coast. Aransas Bay, St. Charles Bay, Estes Flats, and the surrounding waters provide excellent habitat for several popular game fish.
When I'm running Rockport fishing charter trips, I adjust my fishing locations and techniques based on wind, tides, water conditions, and seasonal fish movements.
Some of my favorite techniques include fishing live shrimp under popping corks, Carolina rigs with shrimp, and artificial lures such as 4-inch paddle tails and 1/4-ounce gold spoons.
Redfish can often be found working shallow grass flats, shorelines, and deeper guts. Speckled trout frequently hold around grass edges and areas with moving water, while black drum can be caught along reefs, channels, and bottom structure.
What to Expect From a Rockport TX Fishing Guide
When you book a Rockport fishing trip with Clean Fun Fishing, you're fishing directly with me, Captain Justin.
I operate an 18-foot Freedom Patriot flats boat designed for fishing the shallow bays and coastal waters around Rockport and Aransas Pass.
My private half-day fishing charters are approximately four hours long, with about three and a half hours of fishing.
I welcome beginners, experienced anglers, families, and children. I'm happy to help first-time anglers learn how to cast, bait a hook, and catch saltwater fish.
I provide fishing rods, reels, bait, and tackle for live-bait trips. Fish cleaning is included, and I keep water and Gatorade available on the boat.
Family-Friendly Fishing Charters in Rockport, Texas
One of the things I enjoy most about being a Rockport fishing guide is introducing families and children to saltwater fishing.
You don't need previous fishing experience to enjoy a trip. I take the time to explain what we're doing, help with tackle, and make sure everyone has an opportunity to participate.
Clean Fun Fishing is a family-friendly charter service with a no-alcohol policy. My goal is to provide a comfortable fishing experience for customers of different ages and experience levels.
My boat accommodates up to three adult customers, or four customers when children are included, subject to boat capacity.
Rockport Fishing Locations and Seasonal Opportunities
The Rockport area offers year-round inshore fishing opportunities, although fishing patterns change with the seasons.
During warmer months, I look for redfish and trout around grass flats, deeper edges, and areas with tidal movement. As fall temperatures begin cooling the bays, fish often adjust their feeding patterns and locations.
Some of the waters I fish include Aransas Bay, Estes Flats, St. Charles Bay, and nearby Redfish Bay.
I also guide fishing trips around Aransas Pass, Port Aransas, and Ingleside, allowing me to select fishing areas based on conditions and the type of trip customers want.
Why Book a Private Rockport Fishing Charter With Clean Fun Fishing?
When you book with Clean Fun Fishing, you're booking directly with the captain who will take you fishing.
I focus on providing personal attention rather than crowding the boat with large groups. Every trip is private, and I work to make the experience enjoyable whether you're catching your first redfish or have spent years fishing the Texas coast.
I enjoy sharing my knowledge of local waters, fishing techniques, and the patterns that help me locate fish throughout the year.
