Mangrove Snapper, Black Drum & Redfish Fishing Report – Rockport, Ingleside, Aransas Pass & Port Aransas, Texas

By Captain Justin Coghlan | Clean Fun Fishing

Another fantastic week of inshore fishing with Clean Fun Fishing along the Texas Coastal Bend! Our guests enjoyed steady action targeting mangrove snapper, black drum, and redfish throughout the waters around Rockport, Aransas Pass, Port Aransas, Ingleside, and Corpus Christi Bay.

Live shrimp fished on a Carolina rig along the bottom was the key to success this week. The black drum have been feeding consistently around reefs, shell pads, and deeper structure, while redfish have been cruising nearby looking for an easy meal. Mangrove snapper have also been providing plenty of fun, especially around structure where they eagerly took live shrimp presented naturally on the bottom.

The fishing has been excellent for anglers of all experience levels. Families, first-time fishermen, and experienced anglers all enjoyed productive trips with plenty of opportunities to catch quality fish. Watching customers reel in multiple species throughout the day has made for some memorable outings, and it's been great seeing smiling faces and full fish boxes at the dock.

If you're looking for a Rockport fishing guide, Aransas Pass fishing charter, Port Aransas fishing guide, or an inshore fishing trip near Corpus Christi, now is an excellent time to get on the water. The bite has been consistent, and live shrimp on a Carolina rig continues to produce outstanding results across the Coastal Bend.

Whether you're hoping to catch your first redfish, target hard-fighting black drum, or bring home delicious mangrove snapper, Clean Fun Fishing is ready to put you on the fish. Book your next Texas inshore fishing charter today and experience some of the best fishing the Rockport area has to offer.
